Diagnostic Technology
Our In House, Cutting Edge Diagnostic Equipment Lets us Gather Data About Your Eye Health, Helping Us Better Diagnose, Manage, and Treat Your Eyes
Optomap Daytona
The Daytona is a routine test that helps us evaluate the general health of the eyes, allowing us to capture a 200 degree view of your retina in one image, in less than one second! This data is then used during your appointment to assess your eye health. Our optometrists evaluate the health of your retina, increasing the likelihood that problems or irregularities be be caught and treated early.
Konan EvokeDx
The EvokeDx is our office’s latest addition. This non-invasive technology evaluates your discrete visual pathways and the anatomical integrity of the pathway from the eye to the brain, including bipolar cells and retinal ganglion cells, helping us diagnose and manage chronic conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, and neurological disorders.
Zeiss Ocular Coherence Topography (OCT)
The OCT is like a ruler that uses ultrasound to measuring the size of structures in the back of the eye. This data is then used to help your optometrist diagnose certain disease and rule out others.
Icare Glaucoma Pressure Test
Hate the “Puff of Air” test? Our office has a quick and painless alternative available. The Icare tonometer allows a very light probe to momentary contact the cornea. Barely noticeable and requiring no drops, measurements are comfortably and easily taken, allowing for an important role in glaucoma screening.
Zeiss i.Profiler®plus Autorefractor and Corneal Topographer
Zeiss i.Profiler®plus creates a topographical map of your cornea, providing our team with specific measurements of the front surface of the eye. These detailed measurements allow us to create a custom pair of iScription prescription lenses, helping you see crisply and clearly.
Extended Color Vision Testing with Color DX Pro
Extended Color Vision Testing helps our optometrists identify color deficiency in patients. This information is important for those pursuing careers with color vision requirements and can also help identify the presence of side effects in patients who are using certain medications. Additionally, color deficiency may be present in individuals with diabetes, glaucoma, and cataracts.
Zeiss Visual Field
The Visual Field test assesses your peripheral vision, providing us data to help diagnose conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and neurological problems.
Essilor m’eyeFit® and Varilux S Fit No-Line Bifocals
Essilor m’eyeFit®’s digital measuring system allows us to take specialized measurements that are used to create a customized fit for your no-line bifocals. This technology allows for quick, comfortable, and precise measurements for personalized Essilor Varilux S Fit no-line bifocals, providing visual solutions for optimized vision.
